In accordance with Senate Bill 6361, all new employees at the Washington State School for the Blind will receive 32 hours of training within the first 90 days of employment. This training will include, but not be limited to, promoting and protecting student personal safety. All staff shall receive 32 hours of ongoing training in these same areas every two years.
