General Purchases:
- Less than $30,000.00 – Direct Buy. (POL-DES-125-03)
- Greater than $30,000.00 must be posted to the Washington Enterprise Business Services (WEBS) website for competitive bidding. (POL-DES-125-03)
These dollar amounts are exclusive of all taxes and freight/shipping costs but must include all installation costs and any other costs associated with the purchase.
Splitting any order to avoid competition is strictly forbidden by State law.
All purchases for systems must be purchased as systems not individual components; (ie: labor and material)
Sole Source and Emergency
- For purchases greater than $30,000.00 established policy from the Department of Enterprises Services (DES) will be adhered to. (POL-DES-125-03)
Agency Designated Signature Authority
- WSSB has delegated signature authority to individuals based on a risk assessment and procurement needs from the Department of Enterprise Services.
